Coaching is a partnership between you and your coach. You are the expert on your life and your values. Your coach is an expert on how to help you move from where you are today to where you want to be. Coaching focuses on the big picture. It starts from the present and moves you positively forward into the future. At a time when you feel so unfocused, breast cancer coaching helps you refocus on what you need. As your coach, I will help you to find the tools and the structure to move you forward. With this support you can choose optimal and workable goals.
Breast cancer has a way of throwing your life completely out of balance. Suddenly, you're coping with previously unimaginable physical changes: recovery from surgery, redness or tenderness from radiation, nausea, fatigue and hair loss from chemotherapy, or hot flashes and night sweats from hormone therapy. Breast cancer not only affects your health, it affects your relationships to family and friends, your self esteem, and your sense of control over your future.
Our partnership will offer you knowing support to increase your ability to get more from personal relationships, health care givers, and professional circumstances. Coaching will help you to make important choices that you may have been too overwhelmed to consider. As a result, your life can move in the direction of being as balanced as it was pre-diagnosis, or perhaps even more in balance as you move into the future.
Breast cancer coaching meets weekly by telephone for 30 minutes, or for 45 minutes. To give coaching a real opportunity, it is optimal to work together for three months. Though shorter times may be beneficial, most women feel that three months puts them on the path to achieving their goals. Let's discuss the options, and together we will find the schedule that's most convenient for your circumstances. Send me an email at YourBCcoach@aol.com.
